Instructions for Reporting Cancel Game Scores and Correcting Database Errors

If games are reported as canceled or database errors are found and need to be corrected the follow process must be used.

 

Canceled Games

 

·        Once a new date has been finalized between the involved parties the required information should be E-Mailed to the CBL Recorder at KCSAL@enter.net Subject line of E-Mail should be CBL Database Update – (Your Organization name)

·        The CBL Recorder will enter the new Date and Time so that it will now show in that week so that you can now report the score when the time comes.

·        If the game has already been played  send the score and the CBL Recorder will enter it for you.                                                                                     ** Do not try to enter this score yourself or you will be fined **

·        Information should include:

o       Original Gym, Date, Time and Teams

o       New Gym, Date Time and Teams

o       Score of Game if already played.

 

Database errors / Wrong score reported:

 

Occasionally errors are found where wrong scores are reported (Scores reversed) thereby making the standings incorrect.  Usually coaches find these things.  They should report this to you (Their Representative) not the Recorder.  The CBL recorder will only honor requests from the “Home Team” Representative. 

 

·        As above an E-mail should be sent by the “Home Team” CBL Representative to the CBL Recorder at KCSAL@enter.net.  As before the Subject line of E-Mail should be CBL Database Correction – (Your Organization name)

·        Information should include:

o       Gym, Date, Time and Teams

o       Correct Score of Game.

o       Bad Score of Game for verification.
