Today is Global Handwashing Day.
We want to remind our parents and coaches to have their players wash their hands before and after any practices and games, as well as in their everyday lives.
This sport requires a great use of the hands. The sport of basketball involves primarily the use of hands to control, shoot, throw, and catch a basketball.
As such, It should be our shall social responsibility to promote proper handwashing.
About Global Handwashing Day
Global Handwashing Day is a global advocacy day started by the Global Handwashing Partnership started in 2008 dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing with soap as an effective and affordable way to prevent diseases and save lives.
The 2022 Global Handwashing Day theme is “Unite for Universal Hand Hygiene.”
